Beach Picnic with Freshly Set and Weezie Towels

June 21, 2021

Hi friends!

Today I am sharing about two wonderful companies, Weezie Towels and Freshly Set. When they reached out and asked if I would be interested in a collaboration, it was an immediate YES!

I have sang Weezie’s praises for years since I first bought a set for my husband and I. They’re so luxurious and absorbent, it’s hard to describe until you’ve experienced for yourself, but I never knew a love like this until I tried Weezie towels, lol! They also have the *best* monogram options – so many great colors and fonts to choose from.

Sarah and I worked with Freshly Set earlier in the year and I was so drawn to the genius concept when I first heard about it then. A fabulously curated selection of table top items for RENT. An incredibly smart idea that makes setting the table super accessible! Imagine you are hosting a dinner party for 8 guests; to go out and buy chargers, napkin rings, napkins, and a new tablecloth- you’re looking at spending anywhere from $500-$1,000. Renting all of that from Freshly Set puts you at somewhere around $100! They were just written about in Southern Living, giving us a heads up about their relaunch, so I can’t wait to see what the future of Freshly Set looks like!

Anyway, it was so fun partnering with these two lovely companies by setting up a 4th of July themed picnic on the beach! I used a Weezie x Heather Chadduck Beach Towel in Navy Frond as our “tablecloth” and Weezie’s classic Light Blue Stripe Beach Towels for guests. My Fernandina Paper Co. subscription came in handy for a fun and festive 4th of July tag to add to the striped towels.

As for our “table top” items, I rented Red Gingham Napkins, Black Berries Napkin Rings and Iraca Placemats all from Freshly Set. And just to put things into perspective, everything I rented retails for $352, but the rental price comes out to $42! A wonderful price to make such an impact. The rest of the items used, I already owned, like my favorite wrapped glassware, pitcher and tea light holders as well as my blue and white plates and tray.

I hope this set up inspires you to make your Fourth of July a little bit more festive!
