We’ve been in our home for a little over a year now, and after focusing mainly on decorating our bottom floor; it was time to give the upstairs the attention it deserves! We have a guest suite that we put so much effort into designing when we were going through the building process, and once we moved in, it became a home for mismatched, placeholder furniture. It was really bugging me, because we love to host friends and family, and I want nothing more than for them to feel comfortable in our home. We had our old queen sized bed (one of the few furniture pieces we kept when we moved) in there, which really didn’t fit the scale of the room. Let’s start off with the new upholstered bed from The Inside. This was my second time ordering from them, and I am always left super pleased! I love the variety of styles and fabrics to choose from. The chinoiserie printed fabric we picked was the *perfect* match to the paint color on the walls. It felt like it was really meant to be! The bed did come needing to be assembled, but it arrived on a day when my husband was out of town and I managed to put it together all by myself. I felt very accomplished. 🙂
