Hi there!

I hope everyone is having a good week so far. I’ve noticed that there are a few little things I do around the house that have become big bight spots in my day; taking a walk, lighting a candle, calling a friend, trying a new recipe, making a cocktail, putting on a face mask, and my number one is having flowers around. I always love and usually have flowers in the house, but I find myself instantly perk up when I look around and see them lately. In the past few weeks my precious mom has gifted me a huge beautiful orchid (that she grew!), a bright blue hydrangea bush with the fluffiest petals I’ve ever seen and a sweet Easter lily. Thanks to her, I’ve had no shortage of flowers in my home.

Which leads me to this weeks post – Mother’s Day gifts. Who knows what mother’s day will look like this year, but I want to try and make it as special as it can possibly be for my mama. She is always thinking about others and putting people before herself, so if any one deserves a little spoiling – it’s her. Enjoy!
