Red Land Cotton Bedding

August 5, 2021

Hi, friends!

Today I’m thrilled to be telling y’all about my new bedding from Red Land Cotton.

A little back story…my husband and I are currently building a home. I moved into my husbands condo that he owned (a bit of a bachelor pad situation) after we got married and since the real estate market was so hot this past year, we decided to list it and it sold before ever making it on the market! Since then, we sold all of our furniture and are renting a darling little cottage on Anna Maria Island until our home is finished being built. The beach cottage was fully furnished, but since we’ll be here at least a year, we wanted it to feel like our home. Thus- finding new bedding that we will take with us to our new home. We had a queen sized bed in the condo and the beach cottage came with a king, so even our old sheets got the boot! And I’m happy they did because we’ve never been so cozy as we are sleeping in our Red Land Cotton bedding.

This bedding is made with premium cotton that is 100% grown and ginned sustainably on the Red Land Cotton family farm in Alabama. I love that it is a family business, the thoughtfulness and quality shines through all of their items. They reverse engineered the original weave construction and yarn size of a bed sheet that was passed down from the 1920’s, to bring us heirloom inspired bedding. When I was taking our new bedding out of the packaging, I completely got what they meant by “heirloom”. It took me back to staying at my grandmothers home in Mississippi and sleeping on her cozy old sheets that just got better and better as you wash and use them.

I’ve always been partial to crisp white bedding. It somehow brightens, yet softens, every room. I chose the Basic Sheet Set, Basic Duvet, Basic Euro Shams, Basic King Shams, and the American Made Blanket – all in white. These items are as classic as they come, and I’m excited to enjoy them for years to come.
