Red, White & Blue Labor Day Tablescape

August 31, 2021

Today’s tablescape is inspired by upcoming Labor Day. It feels more important than ever to acknowledge those who work so hard to keep this country going. The past year and a half has tested everyone, but especially those working on the front lines in the midst of a pandemic. I thank you healthcare workers, teachers, essential workers, those in the hospitality industry, (the list goes on) from the very bottom of my heart. Your dedication, selflessness, adaptability, and hard work do not go unnoticed and are beyond appreciated. Labor Day is a perfect time to set a beautiful table and pull out all the stops for someone you know who works so hard!

Now for the tablescape deets:

Obviously we need to address the most beautiful cheese and charcuterie spread from Blade & Tine! It was near impossible for Sarah and I to wait until the photos were taken before we could dive into this board. It was full of amazing spreads, fruits, pickled fixings, crackers, nuts, and of course- meat and cheese. I could eat this for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Highly recommend Blade and Tine for any catering needs if you’re local!

The blue and white tablecloth is Ralph Lauren and I found it from Home Goods. It looks like there’s quite a few available on eBay! For a bit of festiveness, we added some small American flags to our little floral arrangements. I love that it adds some height and movement to the centerpiece. The florals are from Fifty Flowers and make me so happy! Bright red anemone’s felt like the right choice for a red, white and blue themed table!

Sarah and I are both wearing the new “Becky Top” from Edith Hour. I love that it can go from lounging at home to hanging with friends so easily. I love pairing them with denim for a perfect casual yet still polished look.
