The Lyric Experience

January 6, 2022

It’s a new year which means many of us are probably thinking of ways to make this year better. A personal goal of mine is to make more time for self care. That could mean allowing yourself a break during the week to do something you *want* to do, taking vitamins, making those doctors appointments you’ve put off, upping your skincare routing, the list goes on.

One way I’m amping up my self care is through Lyric. It’s a hand held therapeutic massager that takes the guess work out of wellness. There’s a touch screen on the device that offers guided experiences or manual therapy. You’ll have the option to choose between “Calm”, “Pain Relief”, “Energize”, or “Rest” depending on what you are trying to achieve. There are four different massage head attachments included as well as an extender to get in those hard to reach areas (like the middle of your back!).

I have tried other massage devices before and have found them to be heavy and, while I enjoy a deep tissue massage, the other massagers were too aggressive for me. Thanks to its therapeutic range of frequencies coupled with lower amplitude (the distance traveled by the massage head), Lyric requires less pressure from the device to achieve the same result, allowing for a more comfortable, enjoyable and nonaggressive massage experience that feels good and promotes positive wellbeing. The Lyric is lightweight and doesn’t hurt my wrist (like the others) while I’m using it. Andddd it’s stylish! It comes with a sleek and slender docking station and available in five beautiful colors to choose from.

Lyric has introduced a breakthrough in massage technology called Rhythm Therapy™. Rather than a mono-frequency or “flat line” experience, which is what most massage devices deliver, the Lyric vibrates in a wavelike pattern mimicking naturally occurring rhythms that can have a profound impact on the body and mind. Rhythmic frequencies have been shown to affect the endocrine, musculoskeletal and nervous systems, and can temporarily alleviate minor muscle pain, shift stress and positively affect both emotions and overall mental state. Therapies that incorporate rhythmic frequencies can guide the body to its parasympathetic mode, allowing it to slow down and rest, but they can also activate the body’s sympathetic mode, leading to feeling alert, awake and energized.

Now is a great time to ramp up your self care and wellness routine and give Lyric a try!
