Topiary Tablescape

September 22, 2020

Today’s tablescape is topiary themed! Topiaries are beautiful, polished and classic. We used a simple topiary from Lowe’s and planted it in a thrifted chinoiserie planter. This darling tablecloth is Tory Burch and was gifted to Sarah by a friend – love it so much and I’m glad we’re using it on another tablescape. These dishes were a complete and utter thrift score – we found a full set of dishes, napkin rings, serving platters, vases, you name it – for around $30 from Goodwill. I wish I had Sarah’s reaction of when she spotted them on camera because it was pure astonishment!! We later found out that the set is Bybee Pottery, which is handmade in Kentucky and so special! The original inspiration for this tablescape were actually the sweet vintage scalloped edge cocktail napkins (also thrifted). Sarah showed them to Jill from Charleston Cotton Shop and she created a full dinner napkin version of them- they turned out perfect!! The final touch to this tablescape are the precious lemon tree topiary place cards from WH Hostess. Everyone loves an assigned seat, right? I know I do!
